I’m sure you have in the kitchen and you use it in salads, but did you know that you can also use it in body treatments? Olive oil contains many nutrients that are beneficial for your skin, is rich in antioxidants, protects skin from UV rays and does not irritate.

- Do you have dry skin? In this case, you have to use olive oil. When you are preparing the bath, add a few drops of oil in water. This will soften and smooth your skin. Another idea would be to massage your skin with this oil before the bath…
- Olive oil can be used in peeling hands and feet. Mix olive oil with sugar, then massage the skin gently with this treatment. You will notice the results immediately.
- It prevents sunburn. Because of the high content of antioxidants, vitamin A and vitamin E, olive oil protects the skin from sun exposure. If you have suffered sunburn you can use olive oil mixed with white wine vinegar on the affected area.
- It helps moisturize chapped heels. Apply olive oil compresses on the area and let it work for a few minutes.
Use in all treatments only extra virgin oil. This is the healthiest, it comes from the first pressing of the olives and it has the highest quality.
